We do not have puppies all the time, but do breed an occasional litter. We like to make sure our puppies are well socialized and receive all the love and attention possible.
Early Life:
Our puppies are raised in a playpen in the kitchen. Why the kitchen? This way our puppies are in the center of the family’s daily activities. They can see people come in and out and hear all kinds of noises (like the dishwasher running, dryer buzzer going off, phone ringing, people talking, cats and dogs playing, TV and/or radio noise). We find this makes well rounded stable puppies that can easily adjust to a new living environment.
The puppy playpen has a crate in it without a door, this is their sleeping area. By having a crate in there, they will adjust better to crate training. There are toys, food and water readily available. We also have a peepad in their playpen to start potty training early.
As our puppies get older they are able to play regularly with children (mine, my nieces and nephews).
Taking Your Puppy Home:
Your puppy will come with a health guarantee, Avid Microchip, first distemper 5 way shot and two wormings (Nemex 2). You can expect to pick your puppy up at 8 weeks of age. We sell our puppies under limited AKC registration and with a spay/neuter contract. You must take your new puppy to the vet in the first 48 hours of picking it up or the health guarantee will be void.
